Wiltrud Abels

Wiltrud is a specialist in anaesthesiology and intensive care at Charité University in Berlin. She is part of her department’s telemedical intensive care unit that is actively supporting quality intensive care for sepsis patients daily, providing consultations for colleagues in intensive care in Germany and beyond. She joined the German Sepsis Foundation in 2020 to support survivors of sepsis and their families and works in the SepsisWissen project that promotes awareness and sepsis knowledge with a focus on the German regions of Berlin and Brandenburg.
