Paul Elbers

Paul, MD, PhD, EDIC (1975), is an intensivist and associate professor of intensive care medicine at Amsterdam UMC, Amsterdam, The Netherlands. He is the chair of the Data Science section of the European Society of Intensive Care Medicine. His research is at the crossroads between data science and intensive care medicine and focuses on data sharing, artificial intelligence, and computerized decision support to improve the outcomes of future critically-ill patients.
