Suzana Lobo

Suzana, a distinguished figure in the medical field, holds the esteemed position of Professor of Critical Care Medicine at the FAMERP Medical School in São José do Rio Preto, São Paulo, Brazil. In addition to her academic role, she serves as the Head of the Intensive Care Division at the Hospital de Base in São José do Rio Preto, showcasing her leadership and expertise in critical care management.

Suzana’s contributions extend beyond her institutional affiliations; she is actively involved in shaping critical care practices on a national and international level. Notably, she has served as an Advisory Board Member of the Brazilian Intensive Care Society (AMIB) and assumed the presidency of AMIB from 2020 to 2021, demonstrating her commitment to advancing critical care initiatives in Brazil.
