Rita Murri

Rita is responsible for the Infectious Diseases Consultancy Unit at the Catholic University of Rome, Italy - Fondazione Policlinico Gemelli. Over the past decade, Rita and her team have provided approximately 91,000 consultations. Notably, the Gemelli Hospital has achieved the prestigious distinction of being ranked as the top hospital in Italy by Newsweek. Rita specializes in Antibiotic Stewardship, antibiotic therapy (with a particular emphasis on difficult-to-treat pathogens), bloodstream infections, and Infection Prevention and Control. Recently, her interest has extended to the development and application of machine-learning-based predictive models.
